These round placements, are a darker natural color with scallop edges in a very nice woven design. The surface is not completely flat due to that design. These would work for all tableware except smaller based stemware.

Large woven designs will have some ends woven together. These are blended well.

Depending on your tastes, decide what that means to you.

I prefer natural art, and these 6 mats fall into that category for me. The cord/roping for this style of placemat has been woven well.

6 placemats can have other uses. They could be in various rooms as wall decoration, on end tables, coffee table, shelves, a pad under smaller items such as lamps, pictures, but not with items becoming hot or having an open flame. They can lend a consistency to your decoration style.

These woven placemats have a beautiful rustic country look and work really well for farmhouse, cottagecore, or casual table decor. Since they are made from corn husk, they do shed a little bit, and there was a slight natural odor when first taken out of the plastic. I expect that to air out over time. The design is very pretty and textured, and while they have a casual rustic feel on their own, they can also be dressed up nicely for a tablescape. I used my own 13-inch charger plate for reference in my photos so it is easier to see how much of the placemat shows around the plate if you plan to layer them. Overall, these are attractive, decorative placemats with a nice handmade-style look, and they add a lot of warmth and texture to the table.
